Now you can post to Twitter from the Firefox’s browser address bar with the TwitterBar 2.6.1 add-on available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4664. TwitterBar allows you to post tweets and you can also post by typing “–post” at the end of your tweet. A small Twitter icon sits to the right of your address bar; clicking on it will post your tweet, and you can hover your mouse over it to see how many characters you have left.
In addition, you can also search Twitter or click the Twitter icon to send a tweet containing the URL of the webpage you’re currently viewing.
